Help Rebuild Safe Bathrooms for Vulnerable Children in Uganda

 

My name is Derek Nordio I live in Idaho, USA, and I am raising $3,500 to help the Ronsen Hope Christian Foundation in Uganda rebuild its deteriorating bathroom and sanitation facilities.

 

Every child deserves access to a clean, safe, and dignified bathroom. Unfortunately, the current facilities at the foundation are in very poor condition. They have reportedly been flagged by the Ministry of Health for failing to meet required health and sanitation standards.

 

Ssenfuma Ronnie, oversees the foundation and helps care for the orphaned and vulnerable children who live there. He shared this message about the urgent project:

 

“Our prayer is to construct a proper, well-ventilated, and durable latrine that will provide a clean, safe, and dignified sanitation facility for everyone at the foundation. Your generous support will not simply build a latrine—it will help protect the health of orphaned and vulnerable children, preserve their dignity, and prevent disease.

 

We ask you to prayerfully consider supporting this urgent sanitation project with a donation toward the required US$3,500. No gift is too small, and every contribution brings us one step closer to providing our children with the safe and healthy environment they deserve.

 

We submitted this project proposal on behalf of the vulnerable children at Rosen Hope Christian Foundation Uganda. We are now entering the final weeks before the deadline set by the Ministry of Health to begin the required sanitation improvements.”

 

The deadline is quickly approaching, and construction needs to begin as soon as possible. With your help, the foundation can replace the unsafe facilities with a strong, sanitary, and properly ventilated structure that will serve the children for years to come.
